What is Abrasive Wheel Training?

Abrasive wheels, including cut-off saws and grinders, pose significant risks when used incorrectly. Untrained operators can be exposed to serious injuries, flying debris, excessive noise, vibration-related conditions such as HAVS, and respiratory risks from hazardous dusts.

This Abrasive Wheel Training course provides delegates with a clear understanding of these risks and the practical steps required to control them. The course combines essential theory with hands-on training using abrasive wheel equipment, helping operatives work safely, confidently and in line with HSE expectations.

Training focuses on real-world use, safe systems of work and correct procedures ensuring learning can be applied immediately on site.
